BAROMETRIC / STATIC PRESSURE RELIEF DAMPERS
Barometric and static pressure relief dampers should be used on many zoning systems to control static pressure, register noise, and to insure proper CFM across the coils and heat exchangers. Both barometric and static pressure relief dampers usually mount in a duct that is attached from the supply plenum to the return air plenum; excess air is routed back through the unit and additionally heated or cooled. Our products and design techniques are "by-the-book", and conform to typical industry practice and guidelines.
DDRD Series Round Barometric Relief Dampers

The DDRD Series barometric relief damper comes installed in a round sheet
metal enclosure similar to a motorized damper. This relief damper features
an adjustable, weighed arm used to increase and decrease air flow
resistance. A 12" barometric relief will handle up to a 5 ton unit. Our unit
features a longer arm than most for better airflow adjustment. Extra weights
are available. Use flexible or rigid duct with starting collars for easy

Rectangular barometric relief dampers have a single blade design with an adjustable weighed arm to regulate static pressure. Like a motorized rectangular damper, these barometric dampers are of open frame design and are made to install inside a section of rectangular duct. Vertical mounting is suggested.
Application: Residential and light commercial low pressure duct systems.
The 4092 Series round static pressure damper is a true, modulated motor
static pressure relief system that will hold a precise system's static
pressure. The unique 4092 series has all components built into the damper
itself, including static pressure switch, electronics card, and heavy duty
Honeywell ML6161 motor. And included static pressure probe mounts in the
supply air plenum and connects to the damper mounted static pressure switch. Simply screw adjustment for set-up. Two wire 24VAC power required.
