Mechanical dampers are most often used in new construction applications
where the duct system can be designed to use just one mechanical damper per
zone. For retrofit applications needing two or more dampers per zone, see "Flexdampers".
DRD Residential Round Series Mechanical Dampers
Three wire, power open, power close damper draws power only when opening or
closing. Use on all zone control applications. Heavy gauge steel with easy
to replace 24VAC motor, and bronze bushings. The most popular damper sold in
the USA. Unlike most 3 wire dampers, the DRD dampers can be used as a slave
zone damper (connected directly to a thermostat) without the use of a
relay. Requires 3 wires for operation.

NSPRD Residential Round Series
Mechanical Dampers
This damper is a Spring Return Damper with a 2 wire motor
that can be field configured for either Power Open (PO) OR
Power Closed (PC). The damper blade will remain open or closed, as long as
power is supplied to the motor. Comes standard with
low leakage Vinyl Nitrite gaskets and are available with
24VAC or 110VAC actuators.

The SID is an option for round mechanical dampers. As the name implies, you just cut a slot in the side of the damper, tighten a couple of screws, then wire up the actuator. The pictured model features the highly versital Belimo LMB 24 actuator. Call our warehouse for pricing.

Mechanical Dampers
OEM quality damper is sold nationwide under major HVAC manufacturer's name,
and is our most popular rectangular damper. Proven 2 wire spring return
design is available in a normally open or normally closed configuration.
Order as normally open for use with zone control systems, and normally
closed for slave zone applications. Multi-blade damper does not rattle, since
all blades run in nylon bushings, a unique feature for a damper in this
price range. Available in side or bottom mount motor configuration, add 10
percent to your price for bottom mount. Dampers come with a minimum open kit
to allow the damper to never fully close.
Application: Use on any system up to .5 static pressure

3085 Series Commercial Rectangular
Mechanical Damper
The 3085 Series Commercial Damper uses the same quality, multi-opposed blade
aluminum housing as the 3150 Series, but features a Honeywell ML6l6l 3 wire,
Power Open / Power Close actuator in either a 90 second or 7 minute design.
Other actuators are available including the Belimo LMB24.
May be used with floating set point controls, or any of our zone control
panels. Available with a Belimo LMB24T-SR variable voltage motor that takes
4 to 20MA or 2 to 10VDC volt signal to control damper blade position.
Application: Use on any system up to 2" static pressure.
The 90 second motors shipped unless the 7 minute motor is specified.

3045 Series Commercial Rectangular
Mechanical Dampers
The 3045 Series commercial dampers feature wide body, extra rigid damper
housings. Available with neoprene damper seals and the Honeywell ML6161
commercial grade actuators with 90 second or 7 minute actuation times. The
construction of this ultra heavy duty damper prevents jamming or binding,
even if installed in warped duct. Available with Max. Seal Kit (add
15% to price)
Application: Use on a system up to 4" static pressure.
Odd sizes can be made, and usually take 3 - 4 weeks to ship.
